Wearable Technology

Wearable Technology is going to continue to grow this year. If you are not wearing a fitness watch or accessory, it may be time to invest in one. As technology continues to evolve fitness technology will continue to evolve as well. You will be able to find more advanced wearable technology such as fitness watches, pedometers and heart rate monitors. Which is great for us who want to be able to track our fitness goals, progress and daily activities accurately and easily.
This year we can expect another edition of the Fitbit and better technology added. We can also expect more exercise routines to revolve around fitness technology, which can help us all understand better how our body is doing while we work out. Wearable technology not only helps you keep track of your workouts and what you are eating. It also helps you keep track of bad habits that may have become a regular habit without you be aware of it.
Body Weight Training

Another trend that will be taking over is body weight training. Using weights will take a back stage this year which can be an excellent way to get beginners excited about trying out this new trend. Instead, you will be using your very own body weight to train. This involves you using your own weight to create lean muscle mass. These workouts are not only effective but they are easy to use as you do not need much space to do them or any heavy equipment.
When combined with regular aerobics your body will build lean body mass that can modify to your intensity level. This is a great way to get beginners into a regular workout routine without using any equipment they may not know entirely how to use. It is also an excellent workout for busy people who do not have a lot of time to work out. Instead, they can use their own body mass to great the perfect workout for their needs.
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

Most of us are short on time these days, so no wonder a high intensity routine that is quick and effective is one of the hottest trends for time. HIIT or a High Intensity Interval Training workout routine is the way to go. Instead of engaging in long periods of workouts, you’ll engage in short bursts of exercise at maximum or near maximum heart rate. What this means is you will be able to burn 2x or 3x more calories in 20-30 minutes of participating in HIIT.
The benefits of HIIT are endless as this routine helps build endurance. It has been reported that people who use HIIT as their regular exercise routine were able to use a bike twice as long as they had before they began using HIIT as a regular workout routine.
